It isn’t always easy keeping the house clean when you have kids, but I do my best to stick to a cleaning schedule so it isn’t as hard to keep up with. Despite that, not having the right cleaning tools can add frustration and extra time to my cleaning – something I certainly don’t need.
Cleaning isn’t really a “one tool fits all” chore. It often requires multiple cleaning tools for different areas of the home to make it more efficient and productive, and to achieve the desired results you want. Libman offers a variety of household cleaning tools to not only make cleaning easier, but to help cut down on the time and energy you use to get it done right because each tool serves a purpose for different areas of your home.
The Wonder® Mop is handy to have when I want to do a quick mop without much effort. With GRIPSTRIPS™, it helps lift up to 20% more dirt off the floor so that I don’t have to go over multiple times in one area of the room like I often have to do.
I can use it on my hardwood, ceramic, laminate and/or vinyl flooring with no issues. I think what amazes me most though, is how fast and easy it is to ring out the mop head! By simply pulling down the ringer over the microfiber mophead and twisting, it rings out a good majority of water. The mophead is also machine washable up to 50 times. I really enjoy using this particular mophead for smaller areas like my bathroom, hallways and door entry areas.
Extra Large Precision Angle® Broom With Dustpan
It has been a bit of a struggle finding a good broom that can sweep a larger area. Most of the brooms I come across are small, flimsy and the dirt particles often slip through the bristles when sweeping.
The Libman Extra Large Precision Angle® Broom not only covers a larger area, but the bristles are sturdy and plentiful, so that dirt particles get trapped until you sweep them into the attachable dustpan. The angled broom makes it easy to sweep in corners and around furniture.
Freedom® Spray Mop
When I want to get the floors clean in a hurry or to help with daily upkeep of cleaning my floors, the Freedom® Spray Mop is perfect for that. I can use whatever cleaning solution I want in the the attached bottle and I don’t need disposable cleaning pads.
I am able to use it, wash the microfibre pad up to 100 times and use again. The microfibre pad is thick and durable, so it’s great for tackling hard to clean areas. The neck swivels 360° for better control and awkward spots. It is safe to clean your wood floors, laminate, tile, marble, linoleum, stone, and more.
The Libman Tornado Mop® is another of my favourites. It’s so thick and durable, and does a deep clean of my hardwood and laminate floors, sopping up a lot of water that is easy to rinse out in the wash bucket.
The large-sized mophead covers a greater amount of surface area, cutting down on cleaning time. It doesn’t get tangled (like so many other similar mopheads tend to do) because of green bands that hold it together in all the right place. It has polyester yarn that resists odour causing bacteria so that it can tackle almost any floor in any room.
4 Gallon Clean & Rinse Bucket With Ringer
I have been on the lookout for a BIG wash bucket over the year and this one has been so handy to help ring out any mop I may be using – big or small.
It has a detachable ringer to help squeeze out water from ring mops and it is divided so that you can have your clean water in one side separate from the dirty water in the other side. I wish I would have had one of these years ago. My husband also likes using it for when he is washing the vehicle to keep clean water separate from dirty water.
No Knees Floor Scrub
We have all been there. On our hands and knees, scrubbing those tough areas of the floor that the mop just can’t seem to target. It is not only time-consuming, but it can be sore and exhausting too.
The Libman No Knees Floor Scrub eliminates the need to get down on your hands and knees by using stiff bristles on the scrubber with a 180° rotating scrub head that lets you tackle in and around any area. I use this not only in the kitchen and bathroom, but also on our concrete patio outside.
Microfibre Wet & Dry Mop
Floors are bound to get dirty eventually. That is why I do my best to stay on top of it so it’s not so much work later on. I like that the Libman Microfibre Wet & Dry Mop is easy to store, lightweight and has a reusable and machine washable microfibre cleaning pad.
The microfibre pad helps attract dust and dirt, while getting the floors clean with minimal effort. It swivels 360°, which allows me to get around and under furniture no problem. Whether using wet or dry, it’s a great cleaning tool to have on hand when you don’t need a deep scrub or don’t want the bulkiness of other floor cleaning tools. I enjoy using it most on my hardwood and laminate floors.
Nitty Gritty® Roller Mop
I love this take on a classic mop! It has the classic sponge head but with green cleaning pads and the addition of a handy scrub brush to tackle those tough areas. Simply pull the wring handle to release the water.
This mop is great for kitchen and bathrooms. I like that the sponge is tear-resistant and the handle is a comfortable height so there isn’t too much leaning over when cleaning – an issue I have sometimes because of being taller in height.
24″ Multi-surface Push Broom
We constantly have to sweep leaves and dirt off our driveway and concrete patio on a regular basis. Not just any broom will do either – it needs to be something sturdy and large.
The Libman Multi-surface Push Broom is wide and allows us to sweep a large area all in one sweep. The bristles are thick and are able to trap and push dirt along until we push it out at the end of the driveway. These brooms are a must-have for outdoors and cut down on time spent sweeping debris away.
I never used to think too much about my dustpans, until I injured my back a couple years ago. It was during that time that small things that I generally don’t think about, became big tasks. One of them being – sweeping. I could take my time and sweep while my back was sore, but couldn’t bend over to sweep the dirt into the dustpan. It put too much of a strain and pull on my middle back while it was in the process of healing.
Now that my back is fully healed, I take precautions to ensure I’m not doing anything to strain it, especially on days when I can feel my back being sensitive. The upright dustpan is handy for that reason and I also find it allows me to go along quicker when sweeping, because I can just follow along with the upright dustpan without having to stop and bend over to sweep it in every time.
Libman has just about every household cleaning tool you could possibly dream of needing when it comes to keeping your house spotless and clean. I feel like I can tackle anything now that I have the proper cleaning tools on hand!
